CHRISTMAS AT HYCROFT

Today Loretta and I ventured out in a cold and blustery Vancouver day to attend Christmas at Hycroft. This is my second trip to Hycroft. Each year the University Women's Club Vancouver has this marvelous fund raising event and invites everyone to attend and view their beautifully decorated Edwardian mansion in the very affluent area of Shaughnessy in Vancouver. You can shop for specialty Christmas gifts as they have many artisans there selling their craft work. The website telling the history of the magnificent piece of property is here and well worth the read: www.uwcvancouver.ca/house/index.html
If you click on each picture it should display large so you can see all the lovely decorations in the photos. We had a lovely day and I hope you enjoy the photos!

The link for the Christmas event is here: www.christmasathycroft.ca

Oh my gosh there is so many things I loved about those pictures, how great is that the Santa figurine that is the same size as a person, and the nutcracker that is great I would love to have one of those, and man was that Christmas tree tall, I loved it all, and loved loved the miniture little dollhouse.

Great pictures.

It looked like a fun time.
